The Living, Evolving Work of Gary Clark presents a wide-ranging selection of paintings created over more than two decades. Installed throughout a private residence, the work brings together landscapes, figures, still lifes, and more abstract compositions in an intimate, home-based setting. The presentation also includes selected works by invited guest artists, creating a broader conversation within the space.

Clark’s practice resists strict categorization and is grounded in a figurative abstract approach. His paintings often suggest forms without fully defining them. Gesture, line, color, and balance guide each piece as it develops, allowing the work to remain open and expressive. Across subjects and years, a steady commitment to exploration remains visible.

In the spirit of generosity that has long guided his creative life, artwork prices have been intentionally reduced for this exhibition. A portion of proceeds from art sales will benefit the Edgewater High School Chorus Program under the direction of Alexander Glover. The full amount of raffle donations will go directly to the program.

This presentation marks one chapter in an ongoing effort to share Clark’s work more openly while supporting a meaningful local cause.
